Gettysburg College will hold its 43rd Annual Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Monday, January 20th from 6:30-7:30pm at Christ Chapel. This year's theme is "Our Beloved Community."

Chaplain Bright will deliver the keynote message, titled "More than Conquerors." The ceremony will showcase musical performances by the Brownsville Church of God Choir and Rev. Dr. Kelly Turner, as well as the Gettysburg Children's Choir, Gettysburg Chamber Chorale, and Sunderman Conservatory Jazz Combo. These three ensembles are directed by the Sunderman Conservatory faculty.

A reception in Weidensall Hall will follow the ceremony. This annual event is organized by Gettysburg College's Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the YMCA Hanover at Gettysburg.

The Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration provides an opportunity for the Gettysburg  community to come together and reflect on Dr. King's legacy. Through inspirational speeches, music, and fellowship, attendees can celebrate diversity and Dr. King's vision for equality and justice. We hope you'll join us on January 20th as we honor Dr. King's life and work.
