Light Up the Night at Gettysburg's Remembrance Day Illumination
Join the Gettysburg Foundation on Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. for the annual Remembrance Day Illumination at the Soldiers' National Cemetery in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This extraordinary event is free and open to the public.
Over 3,500 luminaria will adorn the gravesites and state sections of the cemetery, each representing a soldier who gave their life in the Battle of Gettysburg in July 1863. As night falls and the luminaria are lit, experience a moving tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of their beliefs.

Volunteers are also needed to assist with set up, reading the names of soldiers, and clean up after the event.
