On Monday, Oct. 14, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Adams County residents are invited to explore Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center at no cost.
The day's events include:
- A screening of the film "A New Birth of Freedom," showcasing our county's pivotal role in the Civil War
- A breathtaking sound and light show of the historic Gettysburg Cyclorama painting
- Exhibits at the Gettysburg Museum of the American Civil War, including the special "A Rough Coarse Life" displaying artifacts of a soldier's daily struggles
- The Adams County Artifact Gallery and a chance to win a 2-hour Licensed Battlefield Guide Car Tour
