Next Week Tonight

Yes I stole the idea for that title from John Oliver

Greetings!

I hope you had a great week and that you're gearing up for a wonderful weekend! Don't forget to check the calendar for a list of fun family-friendly events!

I have a pretty fabulous morning, I got to tell two readers, Alissa and Jessica they'd won tickets to the Evolution Engine event at the B&O Railroad Museum! You know how they always say giving is better than receiving? This is the second time I've had a giveaway since becoming your publisher and I had no idea how exciting it could be to tell people they'd won a prize. I know it sounds a little ridiculous, but I was so happy to contact Alissa and Jessica to tell them they'd won tickets to Evolution Engine, that I could barely keep myself from filling the emails with smiley faces and exclamation marks.

If sending glitter through email was possible, I totally would have done that.

A big thank you to Susan, the winner of the Under the Big Top Event, for sending me a picture of her boys enjoying a ride on Thomas the Train! I really appreciate it. I love hearing from you guys, so keep the emails coming!

Speaking of emails, one of the requests I'm getting over and over is an article on how to keep toddlers busy. As a mother of a 3-year-old, I am all too familiar with the challenge. So I've started writing an article on the subject, be on the lookout for it in next week's newsletter. As always if you have any suggestions you'd like to share please email them at juliehall@macaronikid.com

One thing is for sure, my daughter isn't holding a grudge against the cats for peeing on my carpet. I think that poor cat's face says it all, "I am so sorry and if you rescue me from this tiny human I'll never pee on the carpet again!"

Have a great week!

Julie
